I started Jammin Rags because I fell completely in love with Ragdolls and honestly could not imagine anyone not having one. These cats are unlike any I had ever known, gentle, affectionate, loyal, and so beautiful that I could not stop talking about them to everyone I met.
My cats are not in a separate room or a cattery building. They live with me, sleep with me, follow me around the kitchen, and greet every single person who walks through my door. That is exactly why my kittens are so wonderfully social from day one. They have never known anything but a real home.
I am a grandma to 15 incredible grandkids, and watching them grow up loving these cats alongside me has been one of the greatest joys of my life. My Ragdolls are patient, gentle, and absolutely perfect with children of every age.

Every kitten that leaves Jammin Rags is a piece of Lynn's heart going into a new home. She stays in touch with her families, celebrates milestones, and is always just a text away when you have a question or just want to share how much your kitten has grown.
Music has always been a thread through Lynn's life, which is where the name Jammin Rags was born. The joy, the rhythm, the feeling of something wonderful happening in your home, that is what she wants every family to feel when their Ragdoll arrives.

Family is everything

Why she thinks everyone

Lynn has never been shy about her feelings on this topic. She is 10,000% convinced that Ragdolls are the greatest cats on earth and she has the receipts to prove it.
They love like family
A Ragdoll does not just live in your house. It becomes part of your daily life in a way that most cat owners never expect. They wait for you, greet you, and follow you everywhere.
Perfect with children
Lynn has watched her 15 grandkids grow up with Ragdolls and has never once had a scratch or a bite. Their patience and gentleness with little ones is truly remarkable.
They get along with everyone
Dogs, other cats, toddlers, teenagers, grandparents, visitors. Ragdolls adapt to any household and seem to genuinely enjoy the company of whoever is around.
Calming to be around
There is something genuinely soothing about a Ragdoll purring in your lap at the end of a long day. Lynn calls them her daily therapy and she is not wrong.
Stunningly beautiful

How long have you been breeding Ragdolls?
I have been raising Ragdolls for over 10 years, and what started as a deep personal love for the breed has grown into a dedicated breeding program with one simple goal: placing the healthiest, happiest, best-socialized Ragdolls possible into loving homes.
Over the years I have placed hundreds of kittens with families across Minnesota and beyond, and I still stay in touch with many of them. Watching our kittens grow up in their families is one of my greatest joys.
Where are you located, and can I visit?
I am located in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. I absolutely welcome visits by appointment once kittens are old enough to have visitors, usually around 5 to 6 weeks. I limit visitors with very young litters to protect the health of the newborns.

What is it like inside your home cattery?
Loud, loving, and full of cats! My Ragdolls are not in cages or a separate room. They live in our home alongside our family, sleep in our beds, and are underfoot every single day.
My grandkids visit regularly, which means my kittens are used to little hands and excited voices from the very beginning. The TV is on, the kitchen is busy, doors open and close, and guests come and go. By the time a kitten leaves me they have seen and heard everything. That is exactly what makes them so easy to bring into any home.
How do your grandkids feel about your cats?
They are absolutely obsessed, and honestly who could blame them! My 15 grandchildren have grown up alongside my Ragdolls and they adore each other. Watching a two-year-old toddle over to a Ragdoll and just get a slow blink in return instead of a scratch has convinced me more than anything that this is the perfect family cat.
My grandkids help name kittens, pick favorites, and they are my best advertisement. Every single one of them will tell you that Nana's cats are the best cats in the world.
Do you stay in touch after adoption?
Always. This is something I feel very strongly about. When you adopt from Jammin Rags, you are not just getting a kitten, you are getting a breeder who genuinely cares about how that kitten does for the rest of their life.
I am available by text, message, or phone for questions, concerns, advice, or just to share photos of how big your baby has gotten. I love the updates. Whether it is a question about food, a behavioral concern, or just wanting to show me your cat's latest shenanigan, reach out any time. I am always here.
What if I can no longer keep my Jammin Rags cat?
Please reach out to me first, always. My adoption contract includes a right of return. If you ever cannot keep your Jammin Rags cat for any reason, I ask that you contact me before rehoming. I will take them back, no questions asked, no judgment.
A cat from my program should never end up in a shelter or rehomed to a stranger without my knowledge. I take lifelong responsibility for every cat that comes from Jammin Rags.
